No Kings Protest

More than 1,800 "No King" protests are scheduled, with millions expected to participate nationwide.
On June 14th, as Trump throws himself a lavish military parade in DC, like dictators do, we’re going to be rising up with protests all across the country.
No Kings is a nationwide day of defiance. From city blocks to small towns, from courthouse steps to community parks, we’re taking action to reject authoritarianism and show the world what democracy looks like.
We’re not gathering to feed his ego. We’re building a movement that leaves him behind.
The flag doesn’t belong to President Trump, it belongs to us. We’re not watching history happen, we’re making it.
On Saturday, June 14th, we’re showing up everywhere he isn’t to say no thrones, no crowns, no kings.
Meet up at 4:00pm at the red wagon in Riverfront Park, downtown Spokane on the corner of Spokane Falls Blvd and Washington Street. We will spread out onto the sidewalks with signs, flags and determination.
It is imperative that protesters remain peaceful.
Trump is testing his authority and seeking any justification to deploy the National Guard into communities, as he did in Los Angeles over the weekend. This appears to be a tactic aimed at intimidating protesters, and representing a form of authoritarianism. His actions are unlawful, and un-American. Don’t give him what he wants, stay peaceful.
