Sponsored by National Indivisible, 50501 & MoveOn
Saturday, October 18th - 1:00-4:00pm -BA Clark Park, 3922 N Normandie St, Spokane WA
On a personal note:
We have never seen this level of enthusiasm — Spokane Indivisible has received an unprecedented number of requests to get involved in this mobilization, and we couldn’t be more thrilled.
Because of our community we now have 14 Porta- Potty’s at the No Kings 2 Event
People are asking:
“Can I print flyers and share them around my neighborhood?”
“Can I join a sign making event?”
“Can I donate?”
The answer is a resounding YES! to all of it.
To get connected just email us at SpokaneIndivisible24@gmail.com — we’re happy to provide whatever you need.
If you’d like to donate to help cover the costs of flyers, sign-making supplies, and other essential materials, you can do so [here].
Let’s keep this momentum going. Together, we’re building something powerful.
About the No Kings 2 Event
In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings.
Our peaceful movement is only getting bigger and stronger. “NO KINGS” is more than just a slogan—it’s the foundation our nation was built upon. Born in the streets, carried by millions in chants and on posters, it echoes from city blocks to rural town squares, uniting people across this country to fight dictatorship together.
The president thinks his rule is absolute. But in America, we don’t have kings, and we won’t back down against chaos, corruption, and cruelty. Grow our movement and join us.
A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
✅ Share this link with everyone you know, this is the only way that folks will know the plan before the event starts. (also, it helps us determine how many port-a-potties we need!)

📢 Listen Carefully at the event, safety depends on it as we are on the WEST side of Division only!
The Presenters will be on the West Side of the Park, south of the Playground.
At 1pm. We will have presenters first and we encourage folks to listen and sit on the grass on the westside of the Park, for about an hour.
At 2 PM Then you will rise and decide if you are following PJAMRS musicians or the mobile sound system WAGON or be a sign waver. We are only walking on the sidewalks and you can choose to go North toward the Mall following the PJAMRS musicians, or go South down the Hill following the sound system in the Wagon.
At 2:30 Sign wavers who had been sitting until those crowds were gone, now rise up and walk to the Division side of the park to sign wave. We are staying on the WEST SIDE of Division, please.
Also at 2:30, Sign waving and Theatrics are welcomed. Be seen, be heard, take pix, film videos, smile, sing, chant and be an American!
At 3:30 we rejoin at the rally area and listen to our additional presenters and get inspired.
At 4pm the event is over and we encourage a peaceful exit. Pre-planning is important! It will be dark early then, sunsets at 5:55, that gives about an hour to get safely to your car or transport home.
PARKING-
We encourage everyone to use the Bus, or carpool, or ride a bike or walk. There is free parking at the Northtown Mall, you can cross the street and ride the bus for $2 to BA Clark, and when finished you can catch the bus back going North. Do NOT block driveways, or roadways. People need access to their properties, and emergency vehicles need to get to our neighbors that might be in need!
If you carpool, you can easily drop people off at the West Side of the park and then go park your car.
If you ride your bike, you can chain it to the Fence.
RESTROOMS-
It is Fall; the parks are winterized. There will be 14 Port-a-potties sponsored by Spokane Indivisible and fine people and businesses from our community. If you’d like to sponsor a port-a-potty, please contact SpokaneIndivisible24@gmail.com
SELF EXPRESSION-
The Signs of Fascism will be present. Hand Maids will be out in force The Funeral for Democracy will be on display. Large Banners will be in the Park, be careful of where you walk. Be Creative! Make your own sign, or a group of signs, or structures, but remember that we cannot put anything into the ground. It destroys our parks, and these ARE your tax dollars at work!
SECURITY/ SAFETY
We will have a number of community assets present, to de-escalate any potential issues. We are a peaceful group, and we will behave that way. If you are having a conflict, walk away. Avoidance is the best way. Peacekeepers are also there to help.
Our best advice for safety along Division, (which is a HIGHWAY) is to STAY OUT OF THE STREET.
Don’t have signs blocking the drivers view, (many are honking FOR us!) Stay back from the curb. Listen to people carefully, it’s very noisy on the sidewalk! If you encounter angry people, just avoid them or walk around them. If needed, know how to start a live stream on your phone to record any potentially dangerous situation.
DO NOT PARK WHERE YOU ARE BLOCKING THE ROADWAY OR DRIVEWAYS FOR HOME OWNERS
DO NOT STAND IN THE ROADWAY WAITING TO CROSS, IT BLOCKS EMERGENCY VEHICLES.
Be kind, think of your actions effect on others. Be on one side until you know you can safely cross the roadway. We want everyone to be safe and tell about the great experience we had!

This event meets ADA standards
